と言うわけで一つ書いておく。
会社で（あんまり興味の無い）会議に出てる時、
あ、これについてあとで考えてみよ、って思ったことをノートの端に書くことにしてます。
今日は「プライド」って書いてあった。
プライドって何なんだろうね。
「誇り」とか「自負」とか書いてあるけど、いまいちピンとこなくて。
でも人を見ていて「こいつ、プライド高いなぁ。」と思うことは往々にしてあります。
それってどういう時だろうか。
・やたら頑固な時
・自分の意見を曲げない時
・自己弁護してる時
・こだわり続ける時
いいことないな。。
今は「プライドが高い」＝「頑固」くらいにしか思えない。
きっと俺が理解していない「プライド」が世の中にはあると思う。
だって直訳すると「誇り」だもん。なんかかっこいい。
それを持ってるってことは、何かすばらしいことのはずだ。
考えを曲げない → 自信がある → 誇りを持っている！
そういうことか。
自分にとっての「誇り」ってなんだろう。
多分それは、自信の源、なのだと思う。
むむむ。
これは「プライドが高い」とは別の文脈で考えることにしよう。
