よんとお（くどいですが、双子の兄です。）と一緒に住んで
そろそろ1年ちょっとですが、昨日久しぶりにその意義を確認した。
覚えているうちに書いておく。
皆さんご存知無いと思いますが、
「双子のテレパシー」は多分存在します。
思考パターンが酷似しているから考えていることが大体分かる、という意味で。
10年近くは違う環境で過ごしたとは言え、
根本的な思考パターンはお互い99%読めてしまう。
1%の違いは何だろう。よんとおは完璧主義で、俺はきっとそうではないところか。
よんとおのやり方はかっこよく言うと、
完璧に理想を追い求める、ストイックな感じ。
でも俺はそうではなくて「ほどほど」にしておくことが多い。
「多分これは無理。この辺にしとくのが一番効率がいい。」と、
どこかで諦めているところがあるように思う。
その「諦め」に対して自己嫌悪を覚えるか覚えないかの違い、と言ってもいいかもしれない。
あ、言いたかったこと。
前提を必要としない会話が出来ると言うことは、
本来考えたい、会話のレベルを大きく上げることになる。ってこと。
だって話したいことにたどり着くのが一瞬だから。
いわゆる親友とか家族とかに物事を相談しやすいのは、
物理的に近くにいるから、と言う理由よりもむしろ、精神的に距離が近いからじゃないのかな。
精神的にと言うか、思考の背景的に。
分かってくれるはず！と言う信頼と、その裏づけがある。
でも、同じ兄弟達であっても
距離が99%なのと、そうでないもの（90%、いや80？70？）の違いはとても大きい。
だって、ミキ秀のことの方がよっぽど分かるもん。
70を99に出来なかったことが、俺とよんとおの、ここ20年でのとても大きな失敗、
いや、しようとしなかったこと、すべきだったことに気付かなかったことが、
きっと失敗だったのだと思う。
「だった」と言う今。
「じゃなかった」と言うことにするのが、これから1年の大きな仕事になると思う。
そういう話を先輩にしたら、
「俺、兄弟いないからそういうのわかんないよ。」
と、ちょっと申し訳ない気がしてしまった。
