皆さんご存知かどうかわかりませんが、
その昔セガサターンで、ナイツ（Nights）と言うゲームがありました。
これです。
"ナイツ"でググったら未だに10年以上前のＨＰが出て来るんだなぁ。
一年くらい前の自分の記事にもナイツって書いてたみたい。
当時、1996年の暮れですけども、
まんとる家では3兄弟が
「今年のクリスマスプレゼントは何がいいか問題」
について話し合っておりました。
「もうすぐFF7が出るしプレステだろ常考」
と言うのが普通だと思いますが、
この少し前に親戚（奈良の伯父様、通称：奈良のおっちゃん）
の家でプレイした
「真・女神転生 デビルサマナー」
が面白かったこと、
そして上記ナイツの限定版が
本体に付いて来るらしいと言うことで
まんとる家はプレステではなくまさかのセガサターン導入と
相成ったわけであります。
さて、この限定版ナイツ、
クリスマスナイツと言うんですけれども、
当時次世代機などほとんど触れたことも無かった我々としては
（この時の次世代機＝プレステ、セガサターン等の32bit機です）
それはそれはすごい感動があったわけです。
だって、キャラが3次元で空をびゅんびゅん飛んでるんですもん。
ほんとに画面がキレイで輝いて見えて、
ほんとに飛んでるみたいでした。
上下左右、ほんとに空間の中を自由に。
多分、ゲームをやってて、
画面を見て一番感動したのはこの時だと思います。
今でこそポリゴンとかCGの3次元表現は当たり前ですが、
それまでは2次元のスーファミの画面＝ゲームの画面ですから。
次元が1つ増えるってことはすごいことです。
白い雪が降る日にサンタさんではなくなぜか両親から渡された
白いセガサターン（パッケージはクリスマスナイツ）は
そんな感じでまんとる家に感動を運んでくれたわけなのです。
11年経った今年。
そのナイツの続編が出るらしいです。
だから思い出して書きました。
きっとこれも面白いし、いいゲームになるのだと思います。
同じ人たちが作ってるしね。
それでも。
インターフェースも画面も進化してるけど、
俺がやってもあの時のような感覚にはなれないんだろうなぁ。
記憶の中で神聖化されてしまってるもん。
そう考えると、新しい感動と言うのは恐らく
何かの延長上ではなく（延長だと自覚した時点でアウト）
全く別の次元にしか無いのかも知れない。
俺の感動次元がいま何次元あるのか数えられないけれど
今後感動する時はどういう次元にそれがあるのか
よく考えてみたい。
とりあえず。
続編やるためにwii買おうかな・・と思ってるんですがどうでしょう。
そろそろ家に帰ろ・・

でも思たら，最近のページは（スペックに余裕があるのをいいことに）ムダなこといっぱいしてんねやろなーって思う。
「ほとんど文字しかないブログの表示にどんだけかかっててんねん！」みたいな。
ああ，クリックと同時にページが表示されるこの快感。
嬉しき哉。
俺たぶん感動したのって始めてSFC買ってマリオをした時だなぁ。
FCから進化しすぎだろ！って感じでした。結局SFCでもあれよりきれいだなーって思うソフトがなかったのは俺だけかしらん。
