最近、実家の車を買い替えると言う出来事がありました。
なぜか次男の俺には「アルトを買いました。」と、
事前の相談も無く事後報告がいきなりきたんだけれど。
まぁ、それはどちらでもよくて。
その時、前の車を処分した旨を伝える母からのメールには
こんなことが書かれていました。
「今クレスタとお別れをしてきました。
あなた達が旅立った時のように寂しいです。
早くアルトに馴れないとね（ペンギン）」
実家に帰って聞いたら、処分する時マジ泣きしたらしい。
でもそれはよくわかるわけ。
もうかれこれ１０年くらい乗ってたのかなぁ、あの車に。
この１０年は家の中でも色んなことがあって、
思い出してみると本当に色んなことがあった。
１０年前、俺はまだ中学生だもんなぁ。
あの時にあったものが今はなくて、
あの時になかったものが今はあって。
とにかく色んな記憶に同じ車があった気がする。
愛着って、そういうもんだと思う。
車に限らず財布でもシャーペンでもPCでも自転車でも。
なんでもそう。
長い時間を過ごすことによっていつの間にか
すごく近い存在のような、友達のような気がしてくる。
別に語りかけたりはしないけど、
壊れたりなくなったり、ついには捨てることになったりすると
すごく寂しい気持ちになると思う。
そうか、物って言うのは記憶の塊なんだな。
今書いてて気付いた。
それを見れば色んなことを思い出せるし、
それによってまた色んな記憶が出来てゆく。
だから回りからそれがなくなると、
記憶がなくなってしまうようで寂しい。
そういうことか。
きっと実家はずっと散らかったままなんだろうなと思う。
長い時間をかけてその場に放置されているものにさえも
愛着を覚えてしまいそうだから。
でもそれはそれでいいと思う。
「いい加減家の中片付けて」
と家族の誰もが言うけれど、
片付かなくても本当は誰も困らないからね。
ちなみに上のメールの（ペンギン）にはペンギンの絵文字が入ります。
母はなぜかメールの最後にペンギンを入れます。
かわいいつもりです。
この前ゲーセンで取ったペンギンのぬいぐるみをあげたら
メールが返って来た。
「車に（ペンギン）を吊るしました。かわいくゆれてます。
ありがとう(^0^)」
ゲーセン通いも、悪くはないか。
なに このちょっと最後泣ける話的な。
ちなみに私はモノに話しかけます。
ラボのプリンターとか。
うちのペンギンは留守電に
「よろしくぴょーーーん」
っていれてきます。
かわいいつもりだと思います。
あのデジタルっぽい速度メーターが良かったのに、寂しくなるなぁ。
だがこれで車庫入れは格段に楽になったか。
でも今度からまんとる。
アルト乗る度に金払えよ？
一回につき一万円な？

一つの出来事から色んなことを考えられるようになるのは素敵なことやね。これからもバンバンそういうものを積み重ねてダンディーな男性になって下さい♪♪
ちなみに部屋は私も散らかり放題なんでなんとも言えませんが、トラックの運転手さんの話では「車の汚れは心の汚れーーー!!!!（怒）」らしく、笑いながら注意されたのでそれからは「汚なっ!!」と感じたら平日でも洗うようにしてます。
メル（愛犬）には迷惑でしょうが･･･。

しかし今朝母がカトゥーンのことカツーンと言うた時は何か寂しかった。。
なんか心に響く文章ですなー。
俺も結構モノを大事に長ーく扱う人なんで、マントルの母さんの気持ちもわかるわー。
だから、俺は部屋の片付けの際は、捨てるんじゃなくて、整理することの方が多いかも(笑）
たとえ安くて旧式でも、愛着ある物は、市場価値を超えるよ！！

Fiscal constraint is important but that doesn't mean people who are effected shouldn't protest. The honorable thing to do is to sack surplus workers. Cutting conditions is akin to breach of contract. Sometime necessary but nobody should expect to make friends in the process.
