今日は学校に行くまでに、
ホームセンターに寄ってゲーセンに寄って本屋に寄って、
それからコンビニに寄ってようやく学校に辿り着きました。
就職活動を始めてから本当によく思うんですが、
世の中にはほんとに色んな職業があるなって。
上に書いた店の人もみんな働いてるわけだし、
途中ですれ違ったトラックやタクシーのおっちゃんだって、
休みの日なのにスーツ来て営業してるお兄さんもそう。
みんな仕事をしてるんやもん。
世の中に必要ない仕事なんて、本質的には無いよね。
仕事として成り立つってことは、誰かが必要としてるからでしょう。
（仕事＝それをしてお金がもらえる、ってことにしときます）
でも無くてもいいのはありますな、いっぱい。
それをすることで、誰かがいっぱい困るような仕事。
なんやろ・・・密輸とか？
そんなのは無くてもいいや。
まぁ、言いたいのはそういうことではなくて。
職業に貴賎は無いと、そういうことが言いたいわけです。
前にもちょっと書いた。
最後のバイトを終えての感想のところ。
確かに楽とかしんどいとか、
時給に換算すると差があるとか、そういうのはあるでしょう。
その辺を踏まえた上で、仕事をみんな選ぶと思うんですけども。
あと好みね。こういうことやって生きていきたいなっていう。
また、確かに自動化出来るような仕事はいっぱいあります。
俺がやってたバイトで言うと、本屋のバイトとかゲーセンのバイトとか。
あと販売業って言うのは、ほとんど自動化出来るだろうな。
これはブックオフの話ですが、
本に値段を付けて、棚を探して、そこに入れる、
と言う作業があります。
これ絶対機械化出来るよ。そのうち。
でもそんな機械を作るよりも人を使った方が安いし、
そもそもそんな機械なんてまだ存在しないですから。
今の本屋の形態を維持するためには、
その仕事だって当然必要な仕事ってことになる。
本を買わない、読まない人のことは知りませんが、
本屋という一つの社会システムを成り立たせるためには
上記の行為をする人間と言うのは絶対に必要です。必要なの。
そう考えれば。
誰かがどこかでやってる仕事と言うのは、
自分ではない誰かがやっている仕事って言うのは、
自分がやる代わりにやってもらってる、って考えられます。
頭を使う仕事が偉いとか、
誰でも出来るような単純な仕事はバカだとか、
そういう議論は不毛だ。だってどっちも必要なのに。
「誰でも出来る仕事はしたくない」
とか言うのは勝手なんだけどね。そりゃもう勝手ですよ。
したくないのは結構だけれど、
だからと言って他の仕事を貶める権利は無いわ。
全ての人が創造的な活動だけしていられるような、
そんな世界であれば。
あれば、それでもいいと思う。
ただそうでない限り、
現状を維持するための活動と言うのは必要だもん。
だから、他の仕事をしている人みんなに感謝しないと。
「人間に出来て、機械に出来ないことは何か。
それは何かを“創る”ことです。」
これはまぁ、俺がいっつも面接で使う一節なんだけれど。
創る仕事、クリエイティブな仕事と言うのは確かに、
出来る人が限られてると思います。
絵とか音楽とか、芸術なんてまさにそうだよね。
研究って言うのもそうだろうな。
出来る人が限られてる。それはそう。
でも、それをしていられる、
自分がそれをしていても（俺は研究職に就くつもりは全くないですが）
ちゃんと生きていられる、社会が成り立っていると言うことは
その他の誰かが頑張って他の仕事をしてくれてるからだもんな。
そう考えたら、ああ、世の中ってすごくよく出来てるなって思います。
知らないうちに（？）、意識しなくても、
みんなで協力出来るような、そんな環境が出来てるんだから。
俺はどんな仕事に就くかわかんないけど、
このことに感謝しながら生きてく、ってことだけはわかってる。
もっとみんなが平和で、健康にいられたらなぁって思う。
チャリに乗りながら色々見てると、そんなことを思いました。
「創る」仕事って難しいね。
でも仕事ってのは全て何かを「創る」ことになってるんとちゃうかな。
俺はまだしつこくサラリーマンやってるけど、うちのような業種の場合、
営業が顧客と商談することで仕事が生まれて、
あるいは自社で企画した新しい仕事が生まれて、
その仕組みを技術屋が残業して作って、
現場の作業員が決まった作業をする。
このプロセスで、世の中にお金の流れが創られるわけやん。
つまり、給料上げてほしい。
全体的にどうかんー。
＞確かに自動化出来るような仕事はいっぱいあります。
これからもっともっと増えてくと思う。本屋だって既にアマゾンとかに客とられてるじゃん。
科学技術の発展はホント楽しみー！
ちょっと視点が違うかもだけど、まぁいいかー。
＞他の仕事を貶める権利はない
ホント そう思う。
自分以外のものを評価する、という行為は何か基準がないとできなくて、
その基準は大抵、自分が生きてきた社会で培われた基準なのだと思う。
バカだとかなんだとか言うのも、結局のところ自分の判断でしかなくて、
究極のところ、自分がやりたいかどうかである、と私も思う。
続き。
ならば、貴賤を表す言葉で自分の選択肢を決めたくないね。
その貴賤は誰が決めたの、と。
私はクリエイティブかどうかわからないけど、
基礎研究という世界で社会に貢献できたらいいなと思うよ。

問題は「なぜこのような偏見が発生できちゃうのか」ではないだろうか．
