支部長のページにおもしろいリンクがあったので読んでみました．
オンラインゲーム（ネトゲ）について研究する組織があるそうで，
昨今のネトゲ事情について色々考察されてました．
面白いなぁと思ったのは韓国・中国と日本のプレイヤーの比較です．
中国のプレイヤーは「結果重視」で，
日本のプレイヤーは「過程重視」なんだとか．
平たく言うとゲームをする上で
レベルとかアイテムを大事にするのか，
コミュニケーションを大事にするのかってことみたいです．
こういうページを紹介してもらえるのも結局，
「過程重視」のおかげなんだと思いしました（笑）．
Lineageでも最近は「出稼ぎ」って呼ばれる人がいっぱいいるとかいないとか．
Lineageのニュースソースはここだけなんですけど！
なんでネトゲっておもしろいのかなぁ，ってたまに考えるんですけど，
その理由はやっぱり上の「過程」なんだと思います．
だって一人でずっとゲームするんなら，それってTVゲームと何も変わんないですもんね．
色んな人と一緒にゲームしてるって感覚があるから，
仲間意識とか競争心が生まれてゲームにハマるのかなぁ．
こう思うのは根本的に「一人よりみんなで遊ぶ方が楽しい」と思ってるからなんでしょうけど．
ゲームの売り上げはここのところ減少傾向だそうですが，
少なくともネトゲはまだしばらく増加しそうですね．
ゲームごとに（サーバごとに？）仮想世界が存在すると考えれば，
その数だけ色んな可能性がありそうです．
ネトゲの最終形態はもしかしたら
「ほんとにその仮想世界に自分が存在できる（できてるような気になれる）」
ことなんじゃないかなぁ．
すごいことなんだけど，ほんとにそんな感じになったらどうなるんだろ．
今の世界と仮想世界の区別がつかなくなって・・
って怖いなこれは．
ある時、私は蝶になった夢を見た。
私は蝶になりきっていたらしく、それが自分の夢だと自覚できなかったが、
ふと目が覚めてみれば、まぎれもなく私は私であって蝶ではない。
蝶になった夢を私が見ていたのか。
私になった夢を蝶が見ているのか。
ちなみにこれは最近やってるペルソナのオープニングです．
少なくとも夢の中では「ほんとに蝶になってる」気がするんですから，
それをゲームとして表現できればそれはそれはもう，ねぇ．すごくないですか？
言わば擬似的に夢を見させるとでも言いましょうか．
「夢」については未だあまり研究が進んでないみたいですが，
夢を見る原理が判明すれば，実現はできそうです．
ゲームに「ハマる」って言うことは，
ある意味「夢を見ている」のかも知れません．
思いっきり客観的な見方をすると，ゲームをしてる人は
「ボタンを操作してコンピュータの電子情報を変化させている」
だけですからね．
ゲーム以外のことだって，いくらでもこんな言い方は出来るわけですけど．
でもね，ゲームってやっぱり楽しいのです．
やってる間は少なくともその世界にいるわけで，
それ自体は現実世界じゃ体験できないことなんですもん．
だっていきなり悪魔とか召喚できませんよ．
出来たらそれこそ夢です．
ネトゲだってそうですよね．
「過程を楽しむ」のがネトゲだとしたら，
実際は遠くにいる人がさも近くにいるような気がして一緒に何かが出来る
なんてことは，ネトゲでしか出来ないことなわけです．
これも一種の夢．
最近ネトゲはあんまりやってないんですが（しぃちゃんも不定期活動中だそうです），
また時間を見つけてやりたいと思います．
ただ，時間に余裕がある時じゃないとやり過ぎるので・・
これだけ言っといて何なんですが，
あくまでゲームは夢の世界です．だと思います．
見てる間は楽しいですが，そればっかりやってちゃ他のことが出来ないですよね．
いや，ゲームだけやってて一生生活してくんならそれでもいいんですが・・無理じゃない？
ちゃんと健康を維持しながら，
日々目標を達成できるように努力した後の余暇で楽しむようにしたいですね．
